When people hear the word nuclear dangerous is the first word that comes to their mind, but now nuclear energy had received a new impression of being the new solution to climate change, I think most of us are all aware that our planet is not in good condition because of the climate change we are experiencing thinking of a way to fight climate change is worth a risk. Visited Hugo's restrurant at Manly Wharf yesterday. They charge $3 per head surcharge and it's even written on the bottom of there menu. It's not that they let you off lightly when it comes to dining costs either

Almost everywhere health care is divided in half, responses to physical health exceed responses to mental health in quality and quantity. It is the same division that so long ruled between male and female, white and dark.

Australia has been very reluctant to bring new drugs under the PBS to aid the treatment of schizophrenia. There are may people who would benefit from this type of drug and enable them to achieve positive gains in their life. I know of several people with severe symptoms who are now unable to be treated with clozapine due to side effects who may benefit from this injectable drug.

I have taken risperdal and invega. Invega is just the desired active ingredient from taking risperdal without unnecessary byproducts which for me were preventing the medicine from doing it's job and caused side effects that required many more extra drugs to treat additional side effects. In the criminal justice system risperdal is often used and the people who use it almost always have to take several other drugs for the side effects or discontinue treatment. Anything that can ensure compliance with treatment and reduce the amount of pills, doses, inconveniences required to treat the illnesses increase the odds of the patient regaining independence in a socially acceptable manner. Insurance folds and approves non formulary items when you take them to court(even if your doctor can't get it through prior approval) and you will fell good about changing the system for the better.

I went through Global Health Travel to have spine surgery at Bumrungrad International Hospital in Thailand. My biggest fear was getting an infection so I did some research and discovered that according to the CDC Center for Disease Control the International benchmark for surgical site infection % of surgeries is between 2-5%. At Bumrungrad it's only 0.39% in 1997. You'd be lucky to be discharged from an Australian hospital without getting a Steph infection these days. People aren't traveling to local hospitals. They are traveling to world class international hospitals with state-of-the-art technology because waiting lists are too long in Australia or treatment is too expensive. I received the best care and treatment at Bumrungrad than I ever have at any Australian hospital. This article has no substance and is pure hype.

Well done to those who've provided the art classes and to those who've helped organise the exhibition. I hope it leads to more initiatives of this kind, including other detention centres. Not only does it provide an outlet & a means to communicate for the detainees but it gives the public a chance to connect with their experience. It would be great if the exhib. could travel to other areas such as the Gold Coast where I live.

I really think the government commitee should reconsider rejecting Invega Sustenna into the PBS. The commitee should show sympathy to people who suffer from schizophrenia. New schizophrenia drugs helps give schizophrenics the energy and hope to find a job. As Rob Ramjan, chief executive of the Schizophrenia Fellowship of NSW, says that Risperdal Consta is not even close in effectiveness and tolerance for schizophrenics. I myself is a schizophrenic. I sincerely hope that the goverment realizes how much money they will save and how much people they can help in society.

She is proof, without doubt that anything is possible. I've read her article about the banning of the 'Burqa' and its highly insightful. When she speaks, you know- you just know from the bottom of your heart that this woman has done her research- had a long hard think and came to a conclusion. No wonder her arguments are so persuasive. It's obvious I agree with her opinions, but I assure you- I'm not biased. I was previously, anti-burqa. Once upon a time I was anti-homosexual. But people learn, they experience and once in a while, they LISTEN. That's when opinions change. THAT is when societies change. Congratulations on all you have achieved so far Hadid and keep at it!
